Every now and then, I like to keep certain units in a certain place for the whole game. However, because I like to use Ctrl Z and other various commands that may select the unit, it ends up getting moved accidentally.
I was thinking a lock command would be nice. For example, when you have units where you want them, you can "lock" them down and then they won't move again for the rest of the game, even if you select them. The only way to move them again, is to "unlock" them.
Would be nice if one of you cleva fellas could cook this up <3

Re: REQ: Lock Units
use ctrl 1 .. 9 groups
then use ctrl x instead of ctrl z, it will skip selecting grouped units
not exactly what you asked, but will work

Re: REQ: Lock Units
Ctrl-x is the 2nd best kept secret-thats-not-supposed-to-be-a-secret in spring, after the scrollable widget list.
Re: REQ: Lock Units
Scrollable widget list say what?
Re: REQ: Lock Units
The F11 list scrolls vertically.
Re: REQ: Lock Units
Ohhh I thought that was obvious
Re: REQ: Lock Units
You can also use autogroup - it has key to remove given unit from it.
It also has another for select nears unit from given autogroup and remove it from that autogroup.
Ideal for picking one roach to micro etc.
