Someone else pointed it out, but I'll be the one to help your understanding. Windows XP gives you an admin login by default, but it is not root. Windows doesn't even really have a root, the closest you can get is SYSTEM or so, and you have to use a lot of trickery to be running as it. Administrators do not have the same power, and not nearly the absolute ability root has.

Try for ex. looking into "System Volume Information" (a hidden folder that sits in the root directory of every hard drive, used by System Restore) when logged in as Administrator. It won't let you do that! There are a few more places like that.

Admins in XP are in fact restricted somewhat.

It's not close enough for me. Anything where you can get permission denied errors on files and have to do a dance that irreversably changes ownership and permissions to stop them is not root.

as for wow being for fags i beg to disagree, it depends. the wow freakout kid and all kids who would react similarly in that situation are fags. Those who play casually aren't (at least not for that reason most likely)

People that play wow, eq, or any of the other cloned failures drives me crazy. I don't see how any game is worth devoting your life for.

GW is a casual game, meaning that you could log off and not play for a few years and you'd still be able to log right back in and play again (course you'd have some catching up to do in the area of skills and builds). The pvp side of GW is extremely competitive. In fact it is one of the most competitive games I have ever played. I started playing GW the day before it was publicly released (everyone who preordered got in 1 day early), and to date it is still the best rpg I have ever played. Granted it has changed a lot in the time that I've played. 3 standalone, 1 expansion and 4 new classes later, the face of the game has changed considerably. In that time I have been a part of some of the largest guilds in the game, taken and held the House of Heroes for upwards of 3 hours (believe me, this is not easy), been a part of VEIN (a very well known kurzick guild with upwards of 17 million faction)... I've done a lot, and still it hasn't gotten stale.

As silly as it may be, one of the main reasons why I like gw is because of the fact that all player characters are humans. Yes, there are other races, but they aren't the typical ghey races you see in other games (elves, orcs, goblins, etc). Races in gw are very unique. Plus, it is not a pay to play game. Buy the game and you can play it as much or as little as you like for free. The team behind gw are ex diablo developers, and they took a great idea and made it into an absolutely fantastic game. One that has managed to keep me entertained for 5+ years.

Sure demigod feels alot better than HON in some sections, but you cant deny the game feels like a fucking demo for a real game lol.

What clanmates? I play it by myself (whom I never talk to, and only know one even a little bit. I needed a luxon guild, so I joined a small one so that I can still pvp in FA and JQ). There are 8 people in the guild that I am in atm, and only 8 people are holding 800k faction (as you may or may not know, you lose x amount of faction every day which must be regained via pvp. Say what you like, but you're a troll anyway, so what you say generally has little relevance. I'm guessing you never made it to the pvp stage, or even the pve portion. What you may not realize is that while the pve portion is huge, massive, etc, it's only a primer for pvp.

Since you've only played the demo... How is that shocking? It's like saying the trial version felt like a trial version... Oh wai-. HoN is just sad. Course while I thought the idea was interesting, I also thought that DOTA (the actual game) was quite lame. The idea is awesome, just the implementation was rather lame.
