I tend to use tiny text (along with an overdose of smileys) to try an (fruitlessly, ofc) avoid offending people, or to jam in unrelated material into my post.

Do you want me to repost all my previous microtext in normal size? some of it's pretty funny (by normal standards, not by midknight standards)

Try using 'small' instead of tiny if you need to make a minor unrelated point. If its a big/long-winded point it probably belongs in its own thread, or in the black hole.
