I've upped to 77b5 (on Intrepid, from the repo) some time ago, and found out that not only most (the ones i tried) global AI's wont work for me (well, that figures with all the interface redesign and stuff), but also, more alarmingly, all widgets seem to bork now, while the gadgets continue to do what they should.
Am i doing anything wrong? What could cause this widget nonsense?

delete widgets.lua in either your ~/.spring/LuaUI dir or ~/spring/LuaUI
also get rid of all old widgets, the luaui interface changed so you might have to download the updated versions

Yes most of the stuff became incompatible with 0.77 - however things got updated since then.
The only usable AI is RAI http://spring.jobjol.nl/show_file.php?id=1519
Use SpringDownloader to find/install widgets (delete all the old ones), it works just fine. (Enable Widgets panel in options if its not already enabled).

Yes, a nice windows download of RAI paired with advice for the mostly-for-windows-only SpringDownloader.

I didnt get that he is using linux. The very same version of RAI is released for linux as well. Is there SpringDownloader for lin? I dunno...
