No, I was saying that is one of chief critiques about liquid layouts. I have over 8000 posts here, you could probably also quote the times where I tried to explain that you don't use only one layout type. It is not very convincing to me. If I recall that thread I think it was a question of opinion? So are you attacking me for my feedback when it was asked for?
I argued with kdr for 2 days about how the xamel should be handled. It resulted in an even better solution with other improvements that wouldn't have been there if I had just said yes. If I had said no people still be forced to apply hold position instead of the script based solution that came out of that somewhat heated debate. There are many times I have had VERY heated debates about stuff and positive stuff came from it.
as far as hijacking the thread, the mods can split it off in less than a minute if it bothers them. There are many other threads where people derail things and no one cares.
You want to talk about moderator's being lax to me? Dude, you have no idea how long I have said that. However, the forum being what it is I simply change to what was needed to get along here. The is not a civil place the whole forum acts like TAU'S T&D.
Hell I redisgned the entire economy based on 2 years of feed back to address issues pointed out and ones that players DIDN'T pick up. To make the assumption that I do NO testing is outright insane.
I also ignore several threads but most of us modders are a community and several individuals among us get a selective headache when we know what it is like to have idiots people roll in and tell us what to. You might not understand but we can empathize. That is why THROUGHOUT the community there have been times that people have had to stand up for me. You can call me an asshole, I see most of my behavior as something anyone would do. Unless you prefer being that asshole that stands by and doesn't help someone.
Also, us expressions like I am always abrasive all the time? In my 8000+ post I have NEVER BEEN nice. Why do you keep making the crazy presumptions? I have NEVER been nice here? do you really believe that? Do you honestly believe that I walk around telling people off all the time? There are many other threads where I have done nothing but be nice some where I am nice and mean. It is called being human. I am no saint but I am no devil and don't try to act that you have never oh wait I only have 122 post to go by and for 2 of them you have been assaulting me full of righteousness fervor.
Wow, you make ME sound really important the whole ruining it for everyone else. Of all the trolls and griefers you attack me? Someone who general avoids main where most of this oh-so-precious player base lives. I most of the time try to stick to content development. Most people who have bugged me in lobby I do respond to and many times I help where I can. Of course that is obviously a lie because I always belittle people right?
So yeah oh and saying that I am starting to get riled, don't give yourself more credit than you are worth. Caydr get's me riled, argh can get me riled and several others. If you really believe that should be no consequences to behavior then I recommend seeing a psychologist.

lol, called it. Oh really, you saying that all I do is listen to myself. YOU REALLY DO NOT KNOW ME. I asked a couple of people to help me with testing, that group has 11 people in it and I just came out of two test games where I just speced and try to make sure the unit roles were enough. I spend whole days from morning to bed testing when I can and that isn't alone. All of my alone tests are done off line. Hell I even try to remember old dismissed feedback that I revisit that perspective to see if I have addressed it or "it is a non-issue." So no I listen to feedback, there are many times I find out it is a suggestions because they don't know the project but look into it anyway excluding the times it is a just something that is a matter of "oh, use X instead."/inbeforepostelitist/

It is a matter of the fact that I have a much larger history he can choose to quote out of context. It isn't a matter of appeal to authority, I know he has not read them all but picks and chooses the ones that actually support him. I cannot pull the same cheap shot as he only has 122 post for me to look through and quote out of context.

1) There's only one person here being elitist about posting, and it certainly isn't me. I've already explained why my post count is low, I could post something inane in every off topic thread if that would make you happier though?
2) The wide theme thread was asking for a second available theme for those who don't like fixed width, your response of "stick with fixed" speaks for itself.
3) I never once said that you haven't contributed to the community, via the forums or otherwise.
4) Don't claim that you aren't stooping to the level of people you're complaining about and then say that the only reason you act this way is out of frustration over lax moderation.
5) I haven't mentioned testing or said that you don't do it at all, I have no idea where you're getting this from. As I have mentioned repeatedly it is your attitude and the way these forums appear to new players that concerns me. Neither an extensive testing, coding nor posting background make up for being or appearing openly hostile to new players.

I haven't been through his 8000 posts and picked 300 that conform to my opinion, I've picked one in this thread and one from the last couple of weeks.
