I'm still tweaking, and trying to get the gameplay nice and tidy. Its had about 4 significant changes from when I started, so I doubt it'll be done for a few days

square maps are easy :>

doing rectangular ones requires alot of effort
[cropping is so hard :P]

so far, in game needs texturing.

although i have a problem
the water goes on for ever...
and ever

and ever

and ever..... any ideas why?

Image

there we go, now features textures, although i might change that,

this image also features my new invention, infinite water.

i quite dispise this invention, so any tips to its demise would be appreciated.

also i have grass on it, and im not sure why.. its got a feature map thats got nothing on it.

ill laso note its 16x32.

i might do some more modifications to height map, as well as a new texture map. and then features.

I revamped an old map and added a new main texture. So,
here are some screenies of the new look ...

The maps is 12x12 with 6 starting positions with 10 Geos. The
metal out is 1.6 on all the metal deposits ..

Just a though,if the hills are not metalic but are land they should look mor ereal more rounded up...i think you should edit the heightmap in an editing program ot make th hills not lok like metal.

Dude, are you doing ANYTHING? I hate to be flamish, but all I see you doing is commenting on the maps we are working on, and having fun being the big contest maker boy. I am not sure why, but every post you post makes me mad.

About the map:

Does spring have problems with excessively deep water?
