New to the game and need help! (not a n00b)

Hello, i'm new to this forum and new to 'spring' itself. I've been a long time fan of all the Total Annihilation games and am surprised i didn't know about this sooner.

Anyway, my problem. I've jsut downloaded spring, and created an account but everytime i try singing in, i get this message.

[14:57:51] Connecting to localhost ...
[14:57:52] Cannot connect to server!

I have looked for an answer to this question in the forums but i could not find one, sorry if i have overlooked it! I belive it may possibly be a firewall problem, if so, how would i get around this? and if it isn't what else should i try?

when you click options and took in the servers tab, does the address read "taspringmaster.clan-sy.com"?

Your trying to connect to lan network.
change the server in options.

As said, your problem is that you are trying to connect to your own computer :)
