Crash on Startup

Post by Skibiliano »

One of the guys who are hosting servers and i go to play in them has a problem. We were having an ordinary match in mod CA and map Speed_metal.

then suddenly he crashed and then he tried to start spring again, it crashed again but on startup of the game.

I asked him to check the info logs, there was something about a file

6838972678.lua in Widgets in LUAUI (he said they were weird symbols, but when he copy & pasted them they appeared as those numbers)
I asked him to virus check it cause it couldn't be deleted cause it was on use.

It was a virus, he putted it into the virus vault and then he tried again, Crashed on startup but infologs didn't say anything about it.
The file got back there too.
EDIT: Now he viruschecked the computer and he's downloading it again.
EDIT2: He installed it again, and it still crashes on startup.

Shortly: A weird .lua file (maybe) is causing that he can't play spring cause it crashes immediatly when he opens the program.

What lua widgets does he have installed? The infolog.txt from the original crash would have been best, but post one anyway (either attach to a post or pastebin it)

The ones that come with the installer.
And i can't post a infolog.txt, because when he deleted the .lua with anti-virus, and tried again, it crashed without leaving anything on the infolog, he deleted it and installed it again, it crashed again without a trace, so he deleted the spring fully.
