Strange Artifact/Bug

Hi,

whenever I play Spring on certain maps I get this strange bug/artifact, not too sure what you would describe it as so I attached a screenshot. Any ideas on how to fix this? Doesn't happen on Comet Catcher, though it happens with all mods. It also seems to happen on all the water on that map (Tropical)

Also, I labeled that box '2' as I want to know how to remove it forever!

Assuming that is dynamic water on an 8xxx card, it's fixed next version.
I'm not sure how you get rid of the background on the chat window.

Hmm yeah it is Dynamic on an 8800GT.

I changed it to Reflective + Refractive and it's fine! Thanks.

It is also possible to fix dynamic waters.

Oi, that's quite demanding - usually I chill at 60fps but it dropped down to 10fps, with water being grey-white when I use tab to zoom out. Is that normal or just this fix?

The fix did the same for me, I can't practically run dynamic water (8800 GT). Pretty used to refractive and reflective though, and I got the impression something dynamic-like but less taxing was in the pipeline.

Weird, I get around 60FPS with dynamic water on c2c with no units but coms loaded.

40-50 on smoth's Island in war but that depends on the camera angle.

Well I tried on Aftershock. It works fine at 60+fps on reflective+refractive, so I'll stick with that for now.

Subs are okay too.

Just.. dynamic water screws with the fps & water when it's zoomed out right from the start :?

That's fog.

/water 3 gets applied to the selection boxes as well which kind of defeats the point of using it. I'd use /water 1 or 2 if I wanted to know what's going on below the surface. If I played anything that is. :P

So I'm not the only one who has this bug with refractive water?
