game hangs on "finalise" screen

w2k sp4 on celeron 1.5GHz 512 ram.

When game starts this screen appears.
After some process (unknown for me) this messages shows. A little later the game must runs, but game frequently hangs at this time.

(Sorry for my poor, terrible English... :-\ )
