on/off hotkey is not enqueable

Post by zwzsg »

The onoff button is enqueable, that is good.
The x hotkey to onoff is not enquable, that is bad.

To try to fix that, I edited my uikeys.txt to add the line:
bind Shift+y onoff queued
(using the free key y to be sure it's not that my unbinding of x that fails, because indeed unbindkeyset Any+x didn't work)
But ingame, pressing Y does nothing, pressing shift Y makes the unit turn on/off at once. But that was in Kernel Panic 2.0 which has some gadget that may mess it up, so then I tried in Kernel Panic 1.5, and here the same uikeys.txt was getting ignored. WTF?? Oh, and in EE0.35, the same shift+y works but only once, for the on->off direction, not the off->on one.

Anyway, please fix so that the x hotkey is enqueable.

CMDTYPE.ICON_MAP is always enqueable
CMDTYPE.ICON is enqueable with button but not with hotkeys
CMDTYPE.ICON_MODE is never enqueable

Would be good if all three were enquable in both cases.

My previous post about onoff button being enquable was wrong, it was a custom button not an on/off button.

Or maybe I'm wrong again, maybe I did something stupid like not use the proper bind commands (tried with and without "shift+" before the key, tried with and without "queued" after the action, in my bind comand), but I tried everything I could think about and am still confused.
