Can someone please please please download this feature and try loading it into spring, its driving me FREKKING nuts.

I mean seriously I've set it up just like all my other features and suddenly BAM, this one wont work. And I have no idea why?!? It's on the map alright as I can point the tdf to another feature and it works fine, but with this specific model (and the other rocks I did yesterday) it just wont work.

And its driving me mad.

not sure, it could be the invalid corpse or the textures not being in unit textures.

Just a guess.

Nope, all the texture are in the right place... ? Invalid Corpse? What do you mean?

I was just making a w.a.g. well you are telling it to look for palmtrees as a corpse. I wasn't sure if that would cause issues.

Ah, thats just hanging over from TA, the palms work fine and they have that line (even when theres no palm dead feature)

Error message?
If it's an instant crash or something else, double check your model to use the right textures, just incase you renamed them and forgot to change your s3o. Happened to me once or twice and cost me quite some time since the error message was very vague.

Well it doesn't crash.. tats the problem. It just doesn't seem to load the models in. I'm pretty sure its the model, but I can't find anything wrong with it in up spring, so I was hoping someone could try loading it into spring on another computer to confirm there's somethings screwy with the model.

Collision sphere not missing either? Did you try to swap a working feature's model with this one?

Okay it was the alpha channel on texture 2. There must be some issue with Photoshop and alpha channels in general as layer transparency gets stored differently. I saved your TGAs as DDS' with proper alpha channels and now they show up ingame.

Weird... I resave and resaved the texture with the corect alpha (and even tryed with the oposite alpha just in case...

If you have indead fixed it thanks :-) I'll let you know when I get home.

I swapped the model of a unit in my test mod and it worked fine, can take screens if you want. Your texture 2 made the model invisible. Since it was a unit I still could see the hitsphere, healthbar and shadows.
Didn't set it up as feature but it wouldn't make a difference I think.

Don't worry I was an idiot. Been so tired, I didn't notice I was saving the working version of my texture in the wrong place (was overwriting the original, not the one I had copied to my map folder...

What a waste... 2 days I been trying to fix that.

could you do a screenshot from top down say with a whitebase so I can grasp scale?

also, did you add some flatland? The first one was hard to play on due to a lack of buildable area?

I can't get Gundam to run long enough to get a screen shot... :( I tried all 3 builds. One exclames there missing explosion info or somthing, the other just crashes out...

::EDIT:: And were's the detail texture gone in Gundam? I don't get why you removed it?

Some maps fit better in with Gundam without the detail texture, gives them some kind of flat shaded look.
