You get autobanned if you send more than 20k of data in 10 seconds, you obviously did so.

That's the point of flood protection.

Flood protection protects the server, thus, if you copy paste an overly long message, the server gets the data, realizes it's too long, doesn't post it, and then bans you for sending too much data. The server still has to look at the data to decide weather it's too much or not, so if you spam the server, it will fight back.
