Hello, im new in this game

I downloaded it and played once with two frreiends, who hosted the game.

Later i tried to make an own host for single-player game but i get only "Socket error".

I guess, it would be the game port, edit it, and now i cant connect anymore.

I put the old port from the FAQ 8452, but i cant reconnect anymore, so what can i do?
I deactivated the firewall but it dont help.

What are you trying to do, and how are you doing it?

Click Battlescreen tab, then at the bottom, Click Host Battle, on the bottom right, Click Add Bot, and add a bot[if you choose.]

Then click Ready, then Start.

Do you have a router with a built-in filewall? If you do, enable port forwarding. Also disable the windows firewall for your LAN and internet connection (or add the ports to it).

As i said, i cant connect to the game, but deleting it completly (inclusive the Regestry data, which wont remove during uuninstall) and re-installing made it work again.

But the Version 0.75b2 in install version is TOTALLY Different grom the 0,74b3 + update 0.75b2 file, because the mad AND mod were DIFFERENT !!

first, i could play and host a game with friends, later it doesnt work without changing someting only a "socket error"

The Try to deactivate Firewall completely or edit the game port were bad it ended in the game would able to connect to the server so i couldnt start the game.

But now the problem is solved, but the mods and maps from the installaztion and update, named IDENTICALLY were different...

I post this to another bug
