Taken with an American observation officer selected in S44. That's the opponent's side of the map. I haven't been there yet. Not good.

I did before game start (placing the AIs) but not after that.

So the issue is that turning off .cheat doesn't turn off the blocking map?

Or that Felix forgot to disable cheating.
(the blocking map does revert for me when cheating is disabled)

Or it's the delayed updating of Spring again:

IIRC the extratexture (can be metal, los, height or blocking map) in blocking map mode is only redrawn if a unit is selected.

So you can do .cheat, select unit, press F2, unselect unit, .cheat, "hey, I can still see enemy stuff".

Selecting a unit after that should make the blocking map redraw, if I remember the code correctly.

If it happens again I'll submit a bug report with infolog.

It's certainly within the realm of possibility that I forgot to turn off .cheat.
