Bigger flatter maps

Post by DZHIBRISH »

If anyone out there wants to do a map, many players would appriciate it if you could make some maps which range from 16x16 to 20x20,almost flat with small hills but the hills should be to big.Just a few hills, very low but with say slopes so that vehicles cant pass. The hills shouldn't interfere with maneuvarability too much so you will have a lot of space to maneuver forces. Also make fewer mex spots that have high mex income and try not to spread them across the entire map, because if u cluster them at key positions you can have alot of dead areas to maneuver in with forces.Thx in advance.

Actually it doesnt.True you have a lot of maneuvarability but metal spots re the same ...scattered all over...less metal spots more staregicly places and should give more metal..

Bye they way,Very funny matt.

Metal at 'strategic locations'. What strategic locations are there on a flat map?

Well if all the metal is clumped together in small groups instead of being spread over the whole map then they will become the strategic locations. I think that's DZHIBRISH's point.

Yes.We totaly lack maps of this sort.I think it will be refreshing to play maps with certain "points of gathering" that are not choke points.

lolwhut? There are plenty of generally flat maps. There are plenty of almost every type of map. The fact is that nobody plays them. Players mostly play vehicle maps with lots of choke-points.

Okay guy, how is this for an answer. Its boring for the mapper to waste his time making a a flat open map.
We just don't want to.

If you want some flat open maps. Start making some.
