Strange lag

Whenever I move around the camera I get tremendous lag, and only when I move the camera. Any other time there is zero lag. There's no question of whether my computer specs are the problem. I've tried everything possible to reduce lag in the graphics options and nothing has worked. I'll repeat again it isn't lag related to hardware capabilities and it only happens when I move the camera.

Spring uploads map textures to the video card when you move, so it still might be GPU related. Other than that I have no idea.

Follow-up: uninstalling NVIDIA drivers, rebooting and installing them back in solved the problem :)
