Extension not found?

Everytime I try to run Spring the error message "Needed extension GL_ARB_texture_compression not found." Any help, guys? Thanks.

So I found the topic in FAQs. I ran the program, the string exists. I changed the settings to lowest resolution, turned off shadows, etc.....still nothing. Same error. Advice?
