Unit Count, Resource Count
1. Where can I see the amount of units I actually have?
2. And is there a quick stat of units/kills like in OTA?
3. And is there a "LUA" to display the actual usage of energy/metal unitwise? So I could see why the damn I stall on energy after building 20 moho mines. Would also be useful to finetune resource management.
Thanks.

All you ask for is in this lua widget http://spring.unknown-files.net/file/3220/IceUI_r53/Linebacker wrote:1. Where can I see the amount of units I actually have?

75b2 crashes.
What's it with the version numbers anyway? You won't find always information on LUA, AI, mods whatever there is on unknown-files.net for what Spring version they have been coded. That's pretty unsatisfactory, to be nice.
And when the actual verison of Spring is highly unstable (ok it's a project and pretty much everything is in development) why don't people pay attention to the verison numbers and why can't you download older version of certain files (shouldn't be a problem with the proper information - i.e. version number of the file itself, version number of spring that it's coded for)

Don't get me wrong, I could very well live with 74b1 (if stable), but the above mentioned problems prevent me from doing so.

Where? You mean the resource bar at the top? Neither left or right click do anything.Pendrokar wrote:Well some don't know that when you go over on the player resource bar you can select options!Linebacker wrote:I still am looking for a solution to questions number 1 and 2:
How many units do I have and what's the recent kills/deaths ratio?

In reply to this entire thread...
Unknown Files shouldn't show you any out of date, that is to say, no longer supported, files. 74b3 is no longer supported, we've moved along two releases of Spring. However, if you know the date of the 74b3 release, you may be able to check outdated files on UF around the same period for the most advanced IceUI version supported by that iteration of the client.
Ctrl-A will select all of your units, showing you a total (As well as total health, total uptake/use and total cost) in the lower left corner of the standard GUI.
Pendrokar was referring to IceUI, not the resource bar. The widget has two visible components; a selection bar atop the active content. There are five icons on the bar which allow you to switch between five constituent widgets; showing kills, units, alliances...
75b2 actually seems much more stable at this point than 74b3 ever was. I can't recall if there was an early hotfix, but with a little recalibration, it should run well if you were able to run 74b3. Same number of inexplicable crashes, fewer desyncs.

Alright, so your initial thread seems to be a card support issue. I'm not sure what drivers you have, but I always recommend rolling them forward to the newest, and then back to the most stable/popular if that doesn't work. However, I doubt that is the issue. It seems that, as you've known for a while, the issue is due to missing graphical extensions/support. I would turn off all LUA widgets - if this helps, try reactivating them one by one, but I doubt you'll be able to run with any of them...
Anyway, in main settings, turn everything down or off, run at 600x800 Resolution, and pray. If you encounter more issues, keep posting error logs and I'll look at them.
The second thread indicates that this may be a random error whose cause is nearly impossible to isolate. Four different machines, variable OS, variable graphics cards, variable error messages.

GF 4200ti, nvidia Drivers version 9.1.47 from August 2006.
800x600, all settings to lowest or off, Use LuaUI turned off, fullscreen, 24bit z-buffer. The only ruler that ain't far left is global sound and unit reply volume. XTAv9, AAI.dll.
infolog.txt (one month):
http://pastebin.com/pastebin.php?dl=m577de14b
edit:
same results also with a new full install into a new folder, lowest settings possible. No errors with 74b3 after installing a into a new folder without reboot. Not even while having set all rulers to about 1/5 from the left.
additional info: using springsp v0.9 for all versions.
