That ranks you as ultra hardcore, due to your extensive commitment to a single game. Don't expect that to impress the ladies :P

You're hardcore if you can read a mod changelog and immediately decide how you have to adjust your strategy, bonus points if you can identify the new wezel that way.

Me too, that was a good laugh. ^^

If you think I'm ignorant or think I know everything, you are quite far from correct, though.

And, no I don't buy from the 5$ bin because I'm a kid and got no moneyz..

LOL FELIX....

I wonder what kinda bug crawled up your ass. I don't like Halo, the story is the same thing I've seen every other time. It has nice MULTIPLAYER, the singleplayer is homosexual without a friend, and if you don't play it online it is hardly worth the money it costs.

And Felix, it is fun as hell... On multiplayer.

Edit: Enlighten me Felix, buy me a 360 and the Halo 3 Collectors edition thingy that costs 130 bucks.. Show me that Halo can do something for me ^^

Wait, I thought it can't get homosexual without a second person involved?

Hardcore here, but isn't that what you'd rather want from someone who's JOB it is to develop games? :P

Not really, what you'd want from a dev is the ability to do what he's assigned to do.

This poll fails to accurately cover many different categories of gamers. Spending huge hourage and lots of money on games doesn't necessarily make you hardcore, and there are hardcore gamers who do primarily play through the xbox360. There are many different levels of gamers and different styles of gaming. Take guys like tycho and gabe from PA, they are dedicated gamers, but I won't consider them hardcore. Opposed to a Korean pro starcraft player, he probably plays no other games, but not considering him hardcore makes you retarded.

Actually my $0.02 on Halo...

Halo 1: Fucking awesome with extra cheese. I still play the PC version religiously (when not playing CS:S or TA:S) and when I say I still play it, that means beating singleplayer for the umpteenth time and enjoying it. And also playing online with all the gamespy wannabe rocketwhore punks. (I still pwn their asses w/ Pistol.)

Halo 2: Made of Ass and Decomposed Shit. The Singleplay I played only for the story. The multiplayer utterly destroyed all that was fun about halo. They abandoned fun for "realism", which in reality failed at being realistic as well. All those who enjoy Halo 2 are fucking twats.
, the singleplayer is homosexual without a friend,
A matter of opinion, but you are a homosexual without a friend. Halo's Storyline (speaking as an amatuer sci-fi writer) is probably the best original Science Fiction story to come around in ages. The struggle between the Covenant and the UNSC is truly epic. The internal strife between the Covenant (the Elites' secret respect for the human race, and the Brute's ambitions for stripping th Elites' of their power is one of the best political side stories I've ever seen in a game.)

Even though i hated the shit out of Halo 2, i liked the addition it brought to the overall storyline. To say the storyline was shit even though bungie put more work into their writing than the actual game is a short sighted statement.

Oh and I consider myself a hardcore gamer.[/quote]

I don't think we have any really hardcore gamers that play spring... Spring doesn't really have too many games that appeal to hardcore gamers that much.

What, you mean complex, long and challenging, with a multiplayer aspect? I always felt springs UI lent itself to that nicely...

No it needs clean, polished non randomized gameplay for competition.
