Dual Screen Error

Post by EnlightenedOne »

hey guys, my setup at home is i have a 19" tft on my desk, and on the wall to the left of that is my projector. I duel screen these two beasties with my pc. I wanna whack the map on the projector (as it is only 800*600 native res) which i thought would rock. I love the fact that you have the mighty "duel screen!!!" option (an NO other game does this) but its a little buggered, heres what i found.

I had my Primary screen on theright hand side and the projeccy on the left, i clicked "map on the left side" check box and away i went. Started up a game, click and dragged the game across my two screens but ran into a problem, my mouse will only work on the lefthand screen (in this case, the mini map) and when i move it to the right i hit a boundry about a tenth of the way across and im stuck. to solve this i re-jiggled the screens in the desktop properties so that my projector was on the left and tft was on the right (even though their not). i also unchecked the "put mini map on the left" box. this works fine as the boundry which my mouse will not work past is on the mini map. but just thoguht id mention it as it would be cool if i could command my armys to go "there" on the mini map.

Thanks for looking into it, Project (not enlightened)

Dual screen needs a big overhaul to deal with monitors of different sizes.

So as long as the monitors have identical resolutions it should work?
