crappy map list lobbyclient

Lots of people are downloading the 470-maps torrent.
It seems that the map list in the lobbyclient cant handle this.
It dont display all maps or sometimes even nothing.
It goes wrong when you sort the maps.

I think it need a fix soon

The map list can handle it, the machines cannot. You should let your machine sit, untouched, for at least as long as it takes to run through the maps the first time with any install of Spring.

No, because you cant cancel the laoding of the maps at the splash screen anyway, its the maplist thats at fault here.

Confirmed, it's even worse on wine because of an extraordinary slow redraw of the map list. Basically I always time out when I do something (sort, scroll, etc.) in the map list, I can only change maps by using the simple combobox.
