This happened in BA but I dont think its a bug from it:
I was making some tests involving heavy mines and medium assault tanks then one of the tanks was blasted REALLY far away and fell into water (one impassable zone for a medium assault tank) still alive. Around one second after he vanished and then I noticed that he was back at the place from where he was blasted and with the same amount of health he has then he fell in water...

yeh you can recreate this with any large explosion and some units near. basically physics breaks.
this is also true in the source engine, quake 3 engine, quake 4 engine etc.... you can build maps where the pysics engine just cant cope with what your doing to it.
i dont know if this should be put on the top of the list of things to do.

But cant the fact that this unit cannot enter water but was forced into it have some relation?
