Thisd is really annoying. Up to 72 will normally run, but after that, it freezes on startup.
I have an ati radeon 9600, and I just reïnstalled the drivers. I've taken offline all advanced graphics, and it still wont run. Please help!

I can try all I want, but I can´t do a thing. Also, i´ve left it for about half an hour, and it was still frozen!neddiedrow wrote:It is attempting to catalog all of your content for the engine. On my machine it took roughly fifteen minutes. During this period, it seems as if it is frozen, but the client is not. Simply wait, and don't try to run any other programs.
EDIT:
I've got OTA, but it's running under The Final Frontier. Could that be the problem?New spring version, 0.73b1
Get it here:
Download the full installer (30 mb)
Or from the unknown-files mirror
Notice we dropped the 'TA', because we like to move away from TA copyrighted material. You still need to own TA for the listed downloads, but a completely free GPL version will be released later.
The list of changes is longer than ever before. You can see it here
A lot of them are mod related, so you will probably see a lot of new effects appearing in mods released for this version.
There is a seperate changelog for the changes made to the multiplayer lobby: lobby changelog
Code contributors for this release (only for programs actually in this release):
trepan, tobi, jcnossen, betalord, yeha, colorblind,
belmakor, galileo, ILMTitan,demitar,
Jack, TheBlasphemer, SJ, fnordia, Argh,
declan, peous, AF, mightyzog, Rafal99, alphabeta
Thanks to all the testers!
Also, due to improved checksumming, 7zip or zip archives can only contain a single map. This means certain maps have to be re-released in a seperate archive.
*Need to own a legal copy for any mods using content ripped from TA.
Well I usually rename my maps dir before running spring, then run and quit it once, then shove the maps back in the maps folder in 300 mb steps (then run spring, wait, quit and so on)... I have to do this because spring actually freezes up here (30+ mins no reaction) when I fire it up with 1.5 gig of maps to cache.
