I'm pretty sure they're the only maps that have been played on the autoservers, or voted in or something. I'm not entirely sure how the stats work, but that's definitely not a map list for any of the autoservers in lobby.hrmph wrote:Ah, my mistake. I thought the stats were for the one springie server only and the only maps it had were listed here: http://www.unknown-files.net/stats/

Its just what happens to me whenever i try to play against LCC on a new map (Hint: Im one of the 'noobs').
I think a lot of players are afraid to play new maps because they are afraid of losing due to unfamiliarity. So they stick with porcy maps, where you can sit in your corner of the map and pretend the rest of it doesnt exist.

i think we should play more huge games like 8 vs 8. because it's so much fun! they never desync, nobody ever lags out or quits, and with so many players your own skills are really put to the test! you make all the difference on the battlefield! it's not like the team with less complete idiots always wins, because that would be stupid.
also, 6 vs 6 on altored is so much fun because everyone can go air!!!!

Well, it's hard to find solid, new maps - and they take so long to download, plus downloading means re-pathing. I hardly see anyone playing those nice, small tourney maps - when people want a small map, they still play Small Divide (which, imho, is kind of a dull map).
What ever happened to the "main maps" torrents? That was a nice way to get a list of solid and popular maps.
