Units being blasted off the map

I recently played a game where I was pent up in the corner against several AAI. And at some point a sampson got knocked so hard as it skirted the edge of the map, that it flew off the map. It bounced and bounced until it was out of sight. I thought I saw the remains of an explosion and dismissed it until the end of the game. But as it turned out after all the AI were vanquished the only way I could end the game was to take control of the owner of the sampson and hit ctrl+D to eliminate the unit that was off the map.

Has anyone else had a problem like this before?

Yeah, it happens... What's REALLY hilarious, is when you hit something so hard it flies off the map, then appears somewhere random.

Krogtaar + Fbi editing = Missiles instead of cannons

Missile Taar + Peewee = Fly through air, then get hit a second time, blowing it to pieces, in mid air :P

I had 2 against AI games that didnt ended even after I blasting everthing up, and I think it was because of that.

I think it happened to me once too, i went nuke happy and pincushioned teh whole map. Not a trace of an AAI was left btu it didn't end..

I just recently played a 4v4, iirc. One of my allies was getting shelled by a plasma cannon and it knocked his rocket kbot really far away. So I followed it with the cam, and sure enough, low on health, it slams into all of his resources, blowing a sizable chunk of his metal makers and windmills away. :P I couldn't help but laugh. xD

In one the games I was nuke happy too :wink: . The map was speed metal so I believe some of their bots fell inside the bugly mountains then I nuked em
