1) Player presses ready button when he have the map.
2) Host changes map to a map which is unknown to the player, player still ready.
So the player shouldnt be ready when he dont have map...
Lobby client: When changing map, player still ready

And what happens if player doesnt notice? Yes, the game fucks up...
And no, its not up to host to know if players have maps or not.
I dont have time to ask 10 players if they have map. >__>

Please note that I do not entirely disagree with you. IMO, it would be indeed handier if it was changed, but then the issue becomes that players don't know that their "readiness" has been toggled off, and a missing minimap with bright red text is a little more conspicuous than a small gray box :)
I never said that. I said that it's common courtesy for a host to say that they were going to change the map. If a player doesn't have it, he/she can object to the change then and there. You don't need to check with every player.TradeMark wrote:And no, its not up to host to know if players have maps or not.

Readying up shows you've read and agree to the rules, if any of those change, players should be unreadied, map or not.TradeMark wrote:Yeah, but not unready when the player have the map...
Impatient hosts can simply consider trying to get the rules right the first time, if one minute of waiting bothers them so.
Usually i change settings when we have all players in. And sometimes forget to change some setting, or players vote to change some setting.ZellSF wrote:Impatient hosts can simply consider trying to get the rules right the first time, if one minute of waiting bothers them so.
