shift key Debian 0.73b1

Hi folks

Im having the same shift key problem that win 98 users have.
the .deb that is downloaded from

deb ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/people/fbo/debspring/sarge/ /

also has the problem
plus I used svn and checkout from

svn co https://taspring.clan-sy.com/svn/spring/trunk
//At revision 2414

scons configure //ran ok
scons //up to date

and It also has the problem
there is a post about the shift key changing the mouse movement
double clicking does allow you to queue a command or 2 but not many more and it doesn't
always work.
