s3o texture issues

I have no idea this is known or has been addressed yet but I think I found a bug concerning team colour overlay on s3o models with weapon models.

Here's what I did. I made a new nuke model for a mod I have in the planning and made it launch from the armsilo to test team colours. However since there were no units nor buildings using an s3o model, that missile's team colour wasn't painted properly... after adding the corsilo (which is an s3o, in XTA) the rocket's team colours were proper however. See below..

I've observed that with missiles I forgot to give an alpha channel to. I guess projectiles simply don't get a team color assigned and use whatever color was drawn last or something like that. I've seen them change colors in mid flight.

Yes it changed color in midflight indeed. This is an issue for mods which only make use of s3o weapon models with team colours.

I am gonna do that anyway, was just refering to others who may not. If the core silencer wouldn't use an s3o model, the core nuke model would've had the same issues in AA. Would be nice if it's going to be fixed along the way onto b2 or b3 or what ever :P

Swift: That wouldn't fix it, the missile wouldn't keep its team colors. S3o projectiles almost seem to pick their TCs at random. All of them have the same color at the same time and that color may change mid-flight.

Looks like all projectiles share their team colour attribute and this value gets overwritten everytime the engine updates that part.
