Making the Commander go Crazy

Found a fun thing to do;

Select the Commander, hit "D" (for D-Gun) and aim it right beneath him.

He'll spin around in circles firing D-Gun shots and lasers. Hilarious, but rather messy and inaccurate. Could possibly be used as a last-shot tactic to counter units swarming the Commander?

I don't think it's useful, looks more like a bug. Dgunning a sub like this seems impossible. But I think you can dgun directly in spring.

meh it doesnt fire quickly enough or evenly enough to fend off swarms

It's the D-GUN for chrissake... the shot isn't stopped by the first thing it hits, it goes through that and EVERYTHING BEHIND IT. You can aim it manually, but it's more interesting to see him defend himself accidentally like that.
