Spring RTS Engine

I moved the folder to the .spring folder and THE GAME STARTS! :D but now i'm not experiencing a so called "smooth" gameplay. my mouse doesn't react, and the graphics are not good (a map that's supposed to have a lot of green, is white while i'm in the game...) do i need to install some add...

where do i put these portable package? do i need to extract it in the .spring folder?

I just downloaded the updates for Spring. I hoped this would solve the problem.
when i start a game now, i'm not getting the error mentioned before, but i'm getting this error:
"Couldn't load archive 'otacontent.sdz' for mod 'Balanced Annihilation V6.61'."
How do i solve this?

There is no base folder in the .spring folder.
do i need to download some other files?

I installed it using package manager
i cant check the directory right now, i'm working right now. In about 8 hours i'll be able to tell you if there is any file in that folder!
