Spring RTS Engine

Whenever I move around the camera I get tremendous lag, and only when I move the camera. Any other time there is zero lag. There's no question of whether my computer specs are the problem. I've tried everything possible to reduce lag in the graphics options and nothing has worked. I'll repeat again ...
