Vegastrike (Open source Space Trader Sim) also works fine on my system, for as long as I feel like playing. So far, Spring is the first game to give my system a hiccup since I reformatted my HD a few months back.

I'm hoping not, but I'll have to test out some other games to see if any of them do the same thing. Postal 2, one of the few games on my computer, runs fine for as long as I like.

I'll try out a few other games, demos probably, to see if anything else gives me a problem.

Running an ASUS Mobo A8V with NVidia GeForce 6600and 1 gig of ram. Fresh install of Spring, running Balanced Annihilation. Tried AAI, KAI, the patched KAI found on this forum, and GlobalTestAI, all crash right around the 3:30 mark. No error, with a graphics kludge that looks like the map has fallen ...
