There is nothing wrong with installing in the program files directory. Putting the maps and mods there is a different thing.

WHen working with a XP limited account, you are unable to write to program files directory. This limits playing TA, as you regularly need to update mods or maps (i.e. download them into the program files folder). Well nevermind. It had to do with the mod. I downloaded the version from the sourceforge page and everything is fine now :)

When I join a battle I am not syncing (red cross for error). How can I resolve this problem? I'm connected to the internet by ethernet card, just plugged into to wall, no modem no router (think it's a LAN, right?). Windows firewall has an exception for spring.
